Q: Why does my foam roller squeak?

A: The GRIND by YUNITI has a break-in period of 10-15 sessions. After then, the foam roller will decrease the squeaking noise and eventually stop.    


Q: Is there a difference in colours?

A: No, there is no significant difference in performance based on colour.


Q: How often should I use the product?

A: As often as you need! We recommend at least 2-6 session per week, after or before an exercise.


Q: How long should I be rolling in one spot?

A: Our rule of thumb is to hold pressure on a tender spot for 20-30 seconds. Ideally, in this amount of time, you would feel a change in the tissue, such as a reduction in discomfort or tension. You can give it up to a minute to see if there is a change. If no change is felt, give it a break and come back to that spot later.

 

Q: Are there any places I should avoid rolling?

A: Our rule of thumb is to roll until you feel a change in the area you're focusing on. In most cases, this happens between 45 seconds to 1 minute. If after 1 minute there has been no change felt, give it a break and come back to that spot later.

 

Q: How do I clean my products?

A: The GRIND by YUNITI is easily cleaned by using either an antibacterial wipe or soap and water to clean and disinfect. Using a disinfectant spray after each use can help keep the rollers sanitary. If used in a club setting (or anytime multiple people will be using the rollers), we suggest individuals invest in their own, personal kit. This will not only reduce the wear and tear on the product, but will also ensure the individuals will have access to relief at any moment.

 

Q: The GRIND left red marks on my body, is this okay?

A: Yes. The GRIND was designed with Density points to help increase blood flow to the area you are rolling. The marks indicate there has been an increase in blood flow. But, if for any reason the marks last for longer than 1-2 days or if they become tender or bruised reduce the frequency of use until the marks have diminished. If the marks continue, then reduce the amount of pressure on the GRIND while rolling. Additionally, be aware of your body’s hydration level – this can affect the marks left on your body after using our products.

Q: What are the YUNITI GRIND foam roller made out of

A: The GRIND by YUNITI is made out of a solid core of ABS pipe, padded and surrounded with a high-quality layer of custom EVA FOAM.

 

Q: How can I address neck, forearm, and shoulder pain?

A: In general, the YUNITI methodology focuses on restoring normal biomechanics. In most cases of shoulder pain, for example, the tightness is truly found in the pecs, lats, and improper movement of the thoracic spine. Thus, these are the areas we suggest rolling when wanting to reduce the strain to the shoulder. If you have a contact injury or excessive pain then seek the advice of your medical practitioner before foam rolling.

 

Q: I received the wrong product in my order. What should I do now?

A: Please email to hello@yunitilifestyle.com with your order number and a photo of the incorrect product we sent. We will immediately send you the correct replacement product with a pre-printed return label so that you can return the incorrect product at your convenience.

Q: My tracking information says my label has been created, but it’s not telling me where it is. Why is this?

A: This means your package is currently being processed and the location will update as soon as the shipping provider scans the package.
